Meet the Folks Who Grow Your Flowers

At Stemz, our mission is to be the supportive bridge between hardworking flower farmers and hardworking floral designers like you. Every stem you source through Stemz has a story, and behind it is a farmer pouring immense skill, dedication, and care into their fields.

As event season slows down a bit for many designers, we love using this quieter time of year to shine a spotlight on the incredible people who make regional flower sourcing possible. And with American Flowers Week (June 28–July 4) here, it feels like the perfect opportunity to celebrate the 36 Farm Partners growing your specialty wholesale flowers.

Meet your 2026 Stemz Farm Partners below, organized by the four regional Stemz farm hubs they deliver to each week. From North Carolina to South Carolina, from Virginia to Tennessee, these farms represent an extraordinary community of Southeastern growers working together to bring you the very best of what’s in season.

Rougemont, NC Hub Farmers

Split Acre

Split Acre, run by Lisbeth and Joe (& lil farmer Thea), is a powerhouse of locally grown flowers in volume! Tulip Queen in the Winter and Foxglove Whisperer in the Spring, Lisbeth grows healthy, GIANT specialty cuts that our floral professionals adore across the region. They also graciously host our Rougemont Farm Hub each week. We are immensely thankful to have learned and grown together over several years now– and excited for future seasons!

Parker Farm & Vineyard

As a Century NC farm, Parker Farm & Vineyard has a rich agricultural history. Leading the flower production side of the family work is Ashley, an organized, consistent, and hardworking grower who knows the power of perennial investments on a flower farm. Parker grows and cares for countless woody ornamentals, flowering perennials, lush foliage, and ginormous perfect peonies. Plus plenty of stunning annuals too, like frilly specialty Snapdragons!

Full Circle Flowers

Meredith with Full Circle Flowers is an exceptional grower and animal lover who focuses on sustainable growing practices that lean into the natural rhythms of nature. With an eye for detail and quality, her floral product is just stunning week after week! One of her most designer-beloved cuts is Blushing Lantern Silene!

Open Door Farm

Jillian and Ross (& their ultra cute farm cats!) have a unique farm schedule because Open Door specializes in growing Dahlias and winter vegetables. Fun fact: they use the same farm equipment to dig up dahlias tubers and potatoes!

In recent years, they’ve expanded into late spring and summer flowers, growing standout crops like giant larkspur in the spring and incredibly healthy cosmos and zinnias throughout the summer. They’re smart, funny, and incredibly talented growers. Buckle up– it’s going to be a beautiful Fall season with Open Door!

McAdams Farm

We tease that we’re not exactly sure what they put that soil, but McAdams Farm’s fertile ground produces GIANT, lush flowers week after week! We’ve never seen such gorgeous yarrow y’all! As a Century NC farm, their 4th and 5th generation family (Howard, Karen, and daughters Callie & Elizabeth) and committed farm crew (shoutout to Christy!) have hard-earned their collective, deep well of farming knowledge over time. Aside from beautiful flowers, they are also famous for their sweet and juicy strawberry fields!

Rocky Run Farm

Whitney of Rocky Run Farm is a true rockstar farmer, proving expertise across the full season! From stunning Hyacinth and hard-to-grow specialty Ranunculus in the Spring, to robust, healthy Marigolds and the PERFECT bunch of airy grasses in the late Summer, we’re convinced there’s nothing she can’t grow! You can just feel the care she puts into every crop through the health, freshness, and quality of every bunch delivered.

Fireside Farm

Lisa and her Fireside Farm crew bring joy to everyone around them! And we trust no one more to capture fun pics of farmers bustling and visiting with each other on Tuesday mornings at the Rougemont Farmer Hub. As a talented, sustainably focused floral designer herself, Lisa knows first-hand what ingredients effortlessly support a naturally styled, colorful design- and grows those for other designers too!

Spring Forth Farm

Megan is an incredibly organized, strategic, and experienced grower who strives for excellence and efficiency in all she does. All while growing two smart little ones! In recent years, she has further focused her efforts on key Spring crops, especially Perennials that designers love, like Hellebore, Phlox, Viburnum, and more! We couldn’t be prouder to partner and collaborate with Spring Forth Farm over many years now!

Savage Daughter Flowers

Celia, of Savage Daughter Flowers is a warm, talented, and community-oriented farmer. Always learning and growing, she works really hard to implement big plans on her farm. This includes planting fields of Narcissus and Peonies (which take years to mature), and going big on key Spring crops like Sweet Peas! If you ordered Lunar Blue this year, chances are this woman grew it! Her kindness and tenacity are contagious, and we look forward to many seasons to come together.

Riparia Gardens

Riparia Gardens is a regenerative, ecologically focused flower farm nestled along the Little River in Hurdle Mills, NC. Jaime and Katie have worked so hard to build and prepare their new farm to grow stunning fresh flowers for the floral creative community, and they more than delivered. This spring was even more beautiful because of their dedication and armfuls of flowers! They also love growing the extra-special, harder-to-find varieties, like perennial foxgloves and dreamy phlox.

Happy as a Cone Flower

Katy of Happy as a Cone Flower Farm grows flowers that make floral designers light up! Located in Pittsboro, NC, she’s both an animal lover and a high-quality cut-flower grower specializing in sweet peas and all the “funky stuff”…including Bearded Irises, Gloriosa Lilies, Pitcher Plants, Itoh Peonies, and flowering Clematis.

Her curiosity and dedication to growing extra-specialty varieties bring such a fun, unexpected flavor to the regional cut-flower world. Katy has been such a wonderful addition to the Stemz community this year, and we can’t wait to see what else she has up her farm sleeve!

Sassafras Fork Farm

Stephanie, the heart of Sassafras Fork Farm, has been growing flowers for over 10 years, after transitioning from primarily raising vegetables and animals. While she grows some seriously epic spring flowers (tulips, poppies, butterfly ranunculus, delphinium, the list goes on!), she’s also known for bucket-fulls of perfectly harvested, tall-stemmed Dahlias in the Fall. Down to earth, thoughtful, and incredibly talented, we’re so thankful for her meaningful addition to the Stemz farmer community this year!

We always appreciate Liza’s thoughtful, collaborative spirit– and their perfectly harvested poppies and top-notch dahlias are among the highlights of the season!

Pickin’ Petals Flower Farm

Hailing from the Virginia/ Tennessee border, Leslie and Jason run Pickin’ Petals Flower Farm. If a farmer could win a Team Player Award, they’d win in a heartbeat! Incredibly generous, grounded, and always willing to help the group. Together, they grow a wide range of crops but are best known for their gorgeous Dahlias. We appreciate them so much!

Harvest Farm Flower Co

Meet Ashley of Harvest Farm Flower Co, hailing from Elizabethton, Tennessee! She is a fifth-generation farmer, coming from a long line of Christmas tree growers and now passing her love and joy of growing on to her kiddos. She knew flower farming would be hard work, but finds peace in knowing it’s a generational calling.

As a farmer-florist, Ashley focuses on growing designer-favorite varieties like butterfly ranunculus, sweet peas, annual phlox, and campanula. We’re so thankful to have her join the Stemz farmer community this year!

Petals for Days Flower Farm

Petals for Days Flower Farm is a new Stemz Farm Partner this year! Heather and fam have a passion for all things flowers and bees—a love first inspired by her mother and grandmother. Morgan (a self-proclaimed native wildlife & plant nerd!) heads up the flower production, but notes that her husband (Gary) and her dad (Chris) are integral to big projects…”The running joke is if I just start the tractor, one of them will materialize out of the ether to see what I’m doing!” See em’ above!

Bloom WNC

Abigail, owner of Bloom WNC, is a natural helper and community builder. Deeply rooted in her community, she has made huge strides in rebuilding both her farm and supporting her hometown in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We’re incredibly proud to partner with her as Bloom WNC grows stronger each season. From armfuls of fresh tulips in early spring to tunnels filled with foxgloves, we’re grateful for all she brings to the Stemz community.

And we always love their family visits!

Fiddlesticks Farms

Fiddlesticks Farm, located just outside Asheville, NC, was founded by Joan after she stepped away from a 15-year career in environmental advocacy to return to the land she loves. Today, she channels that same passion into growing beautiful flowers with all-natural practices, always with sustainability and stewardship at the heart of her work.

Joan is especially passionate about expanding into the early spring and fall shoulder seasons, with the goal of bringing even more beautiful, regionally grown flowers to our floral community at the right time. We’re so excited to welcome Fiddlesticks Farm to the Stemz community!

River Sister Flower Farm

Meet Carolyn and Hillary of River Sister Flower Farm, based in Jamestown and Reidsville, NC. While River Sister may be a new business this year, Carolyn and Hillary are no strangers to farming or to each other. Hillary taught Carolyn how to grow flowers back in 2016, and they’ve been working together, collaborating, and supporting each other ever since. The founding of River Sister further solidifies their status as flower sisters!

We’ve loved watching this new venture grow and can’t wait to see what’s ahead, including EPIC tall annuals, crazy healthy Eucalyptus, lush Chrysanthemums and so much more!

As a farmer-florist, Savanna knows firsthand what it takes to lead a floral event production team. Her experience as a florist influences how she farms, and her experience as a farmer shapes her work as a designer, giving her a unique perspective we always appreciate. And don’t let her fool ya!
